A grand antique Georgian cluster ring adorned with eight old cut white Paste Stones which are all 0.50ct and halo a larger central Paste which is approx. 2.80ct.
Paste is a transparent flint glass that simulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones. White Pastes sparkle just like Diamonds and take expert craftsmanship to capture their beauty.
The stones are all foil backed and set in a grand Silver gallery. The piece originally may have been a brooch but converted during the Georgian era to a ring with the addition of a fabulous ornate shank fashioned in 18ct Yellow Gold.
It is one of the most impressive Georgian rings we have exhibited for sale and truly encapsulates the grandeur and beauty of the era.
We recommend you insure for £1700, We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
